14th Feb or Valentine's day is seriously over-commercialised!

Florist, chocolates seller, teddy bear maker, valentine's card maker & restaurants owner are laughing their ways to bank when this day come. This is the only day that they can double charge their flowers and some idiots will still buy anyway.

Last time, i used to like the idea of receiving flowers or chocolates or teddy bear and dine in fancy restuarant to celebrate Valentine. Come to think of it, it's nice if it's done once in a blue moon... if every year also the same... hmmm... too routine... it'll end up being boring too..

I mean, there's soo many occasions to celebrate, there's anniversary on the day you both meet, anniversary on the day you both are together, your birthday, his birthday, valentines, Chinese's Valentines, christmas eve, christmas, new year... the list goes on...

If every occasion also fancy restaurant... soon you'll treat it like hawker stall de...

So... how did i celebrate my Valentines? No gifts, no flowers, no teddies, no fancy restaurant.

*Actually he did prepare a gift for me... it's a cute pink bath robe.. hehehe ;p

On the 14th Feb 2008,

Both fall sick. I got flu, he sprained his neck.

I bought lunch for him (economy rice... wahahhahaa)

we surfed the net together to search for info about UK.

We made our decision to go UK in July.

we went to grocery shopping in Tesco.

we have dinner in Island Glade, "zhu cha" style and he ordered his fav, steam fish and i ordered my fav, prawns!
